Summer Good News club (5-Day Club)

Overview

Summer Good News Club is an FREE, exciting, fun-filled 90 minute Bible program held each day for four-five consecutive days for children between the ages of five and twelve, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend with their child.

The club includes: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary story, meaningful songs, and life-changing Scripture memorization. Children learn biblical principles, moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority.

Where are Summer Good News Clubs held?
Anywhere there are children. Daycares, apartment complexes, community centers, homes, churches, parks, even under a shade tree!
Who conducts these Clubs?

Although any trained and approved volunteer may lead a Summer Good News Club, the majority of clubs are conducted by students ages 13 through college age in our summer students ministry program called Christian Youth In Action (CYIA). If you have a student interested in learning to share their faith and looking for a summer adventure they will appreciate and remember the rest of their lives, find out more here.

How can I host or help with a Summer Good News Club?

Be sure to contact your local CEF chapter. Click here for more information.

To host a club:

  • Pray for the club!
  • Pass out invitations (that we provide) to children in your neighborhood.
  • Provide simple refreshments for the children who attend.

We do the rest, by sending a team of young people to lead, manage and teach the club. These summer missionaries have been trained at Christian Youth in Action and they do a great job!

To help at a club:

  • Host a club in your daycare, home, or other facility you have access to
  • Drive a ministry team to Summer Good News Club locations
  • Help a teacher
  • Pray for a Summer Good News Club

Summer Good News Clubs will begin June 3rd and run through Aug. 6th. We are already signing up host families! If you want information on hosting a Summer Good News Club or on how your child can be a part of a Summer Good News Club  please contact your local chapter.
